French lavender is cultivated for its use in making soaps and perfumes.Its flowers for potpourri. It is also said to have health/therapeutic benefits and boosts sleep. Other benefits include scar healing, stress, sunburn, headache, bruises, acne, anxiety, and sleep support.
* Growing Instructions: Planted all year round, remove seedling from the plastic cup. Place in a shallow pot fill it with rich organic soil. Or, dig a shallow hole outside in a lightly-shaded spot, allowing 25cm between plants. Pick plants over regularly and remove any developing flower heads immediately to prevent bolting (running to seed) and to encourage lots of fresh young leaves.
* Pick flowers frequently and place under pillow for a calm night when sleeping.
