You will receive a peppermint herb seedling in a plastic cup.
Soil: Fertile, moist but well drained soil,
Position: Full sun
Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint. The her is sourced for its menthol and mentone and are among the oldest herbs used for both culinary and medicinal products.
* Growing Instructions: Planted all year round, remove seedling from the plastic cup. Place in a shallow pot fill it with rich organic soil. Or, dig a shallow hole outside in a lightly-shaded spot, allowing 25cm between plants. Pick plants over regularly and remove any developing flower heads immediately to prevent bolting (running to seed) and to encourage lots of fresh young leaves.
